National TV and Radio Broadcaster
The ORF is an independent public media corporation. It is the largest television and radio broadcasting company in Austria, with its headquarters in Vienna. The ORF has nine regional offices in each Austrian province plus one in South Tyrol. It broadcasts both terrestrially and in digital.

Experience
ORF is acknowledged as a leader in live media broadcasting events such as winter sports. This experience is the basis from which LIVE will design and implement future production concepts.

Project Role
ORF brings to LIVE the broadcasting know-how of live media production on which future LIVE-production concepts will be tested (ORF-internal and for external customers); provider of the broadcast Infrastructure (production and terrestrial delivery) and contents; responsible for realisation of the Olympics 2008 field trial.
