The EuroITV conference brings together researchers and practitioners from diverse disciplines that include human-computer interaction, media studies, computer science, telecommunications, audiovisual design and management.
EuroITV is a forum for professionals not only from Europe but also from all over the world who are interested, do research in and work on all aspects of interactive television. The annual conference (organized the first time in Brighton, UK 2003) features work on different aspects of interactive television, e.g. IPTV, mobile TV, digital content production, entertainment computing, usability and user experience evaluation, changes in technical requirements and infrastructure, future technologies. The EuroITV2008 conference is held in the famous city of Salzburg in Austria, where history and culture meet modern science and research as it was proven in several conferences before.
LIVE will be present as an exhibitor. On show will be the LIVE tools and consumer system that will be trialed during the Summer 2008 Olympic Games in the following month.
