The work of this project will be done by a highly interdisciplinary team of researchers, technicians, media artists and broadcasters.
To guarantee the successful collaboration of such an interdisciplinary team we reserved the first 6 months of the project for the Start-up & Requirements section to collaboratively define the basic requirements for all the research theme packages.

All partners will contribute to the identification of user requirements and usability procedures.
They will define the basic system architecture and software specifications for the tools and the intelligent media framework. Starting Month 4 the technical partners will implement several respective prototypes and mini tools to prove the concept specified in the system architecture and software specification and give |
feedback for the user requirements and usability procedure. Hence intense communication is necessary between artistic, scientific and technical viewpoints in this phase, which might be seen as a drawback for the project. In contrast we are convinced that this very communication between the different disciplines and their willingness to think beyond their own domains will allow the invention of truly new media methodologies and tools.
